Can I Stop My Dilantin?

K-19 - Kathryn Bigelow (2002) The Night of

(K-19: the widowmaker)

Visto in DVD, in lingua originale sottotitolato.

Per carità, fa il suo lavoro, ci infila pura qualche piano sequenza vero (con camera a mano dentro i meandri del sottomarino) e qualcuno farlocco (che enters the underwater windows and crevices), but the Bigelow seems to have abandoned the innovative spirit of "Strange days " and has not yet reached the dryness and visual beauty of "The Hurt Locker .

The film, however, is definitely well told. A film of two hours and passes full of unintelligible jargon that almost never drops the voltage, but rather, nell'acme events can move exactly as it should, is a film that works.

Absolutely original subject, a story of heroism and patriotism of the Union Soviet made by the Americans to say ... no ...

Ohio Lottery Most Common Numbers

Novels in New York # 40: Bait

a thriller starring a writer, there are several. Just think, for example, certain works of Stephen King that here, not surprisingly, the launch signature on the back cover.
But when the novel, apart from having a perfect plot, is a satire of the publishing world and a valuable source of information for any aspiring writer wants to say that we are dealing with something very original, is intended not only to fans of the genre, but to a much wider audience of readers. And this is the case de Bait (The Hook) Donald E. Westlake (1933-2008), written in 2000 and published two years ago by the young publisher Alacran Milan, engaged in worthy opera di recupero degli inediti dell'autore.
C'è un pò, ma solo un pò, 's Hitchcock Strangers on a Train (Stranger on the Train) , there is a detective who talks and acts like Lt. Colombo but with less flair, there are two women who are not of sympathy and their best weapon Then, last but not least , there is New York, described in a never boring, with particular attention to the interior of a city of the 2000s, with many districts and ever more chic less suburbs: "It was a kitchen for a very large apartment in Manhattan, six rooms in Perry Street in Greenwich Village ... were pleased to have so much space, including a kind of attic another rarity in Manhattan. " Westlake went
down in history as one of the pioneers of the inclusion of a certain black humor in the yellow tram, without altering the voltage and also descriptions of the environment can not save the joke, as in the case of another of the places of the novel: 'L' large living room, furnished by Lucie with the help of department stores Bloomingdale's, overlooking Central Park and had a great terrace on the side of the building. From there, on the fifteenth floor, we enjoyed great views of Midtown Manhattan ... If ever I had to kill myself I would do it from here, jumping over the parapet. "
passionate story on many levels, interest is growing for both the publishing adventure of the characters, for a lot of information "behind the scenes on the mechanisms editorials for the inevitable murder investigation, however, told in a way so direct that it will appear a terrifying simplicity. The title defines
bait that hook in addition to a story to make it more palatable by the readers. If I had to try the bait
de "Bait" I pinpoints the intimate desire of every great player: to become a writer, not necessarily as large as was Donald E. Westlake.

112 Levita House Ossulston Street, Camden London

- John Huston (1964)

(The Night of the Iguana)

Seen on DVD in the original language sottotilato in Italian.

A shepherd ( Burton) is removed from the church circuit for a young sheep. It thus becomes a tour guide in Mexico on behalf of God (in trips organized by the parishes), but during one of these trips he happens next un'adolescentella ingrifata sexy and surly leader who quickly takes a dislike to. The situation will explode when they reach the hotel from a friend of the pastor ( Gardner ) ... them all will have to deal with their demons and their loneliness.

Opera Tennessee Williams, as usual murky and suffered the highest levels, with characters destroyed ... but this time Huston there is bad and makes the story somewhat ironic, as a brilliant descent into hell (the little thing was good to Williams) and we attaccu also a happy ending based on the acceptance of its weaknesses is that there own. The script to be honest, a bit latita in credibility in the scene where Burton is tied to the hammock; them the film becomes excessively verbose and theatrical shows in the source horribly (and you use the metaforone frankly excessive), but beyond that point the plot line that is a pleasure.

The director is treated with the same class ever, with framing effect is always right and a wonderful use of the actors. But therein lies the true strength, the cast. All recite from god (my favorite is the Gardner, but they are all flawless female co-star) and Richard Burton appears to have been born for the characters lost and crumpled.
applause.

Best Tamrac Case To Fit Lumix Fs7

Tales from the pale moon of August - Kenji Mizoguchi (1953)

(Ugetsu Monogatari)

seen on DVD in the original language subtitles.

medieval Japan, a potter and his brother (who wants to do while being an inept samurai) depart for the nearby town to sell ceramic dishes, but abandoning their families. Once in the city the potter meets a rich lady who will prove to be an admirer of his products and himself, while his brother and decides to really fight for a stroke of luck will be hailed as a hero. But whereas the two pursue their demons, which will remain burned (especially the potter), their families are harassed in any way and drag in the tragedy. In the end, only a return to normalcy and acceptance status will report the initial quiet and a chance for redemption.

The director proves dynamic but calm. Lenses trucks accompany almost every character in the scene and tracking is continuous.

a stunningly beautiful film, that alone is enough to convince you to rediscover Mizoguchi (which, I admit, I do not know at all.

Find The Hazards In The Kitchen Worksheet

The International - Tom Tykwer (2009)

(Id.)

seen on DVD.

An Interpol agent learns of the relationship between a bank and purchase of missiles ... what do you want to do?? The agent is obsessed with us and, almost alone begins to investigate in a flurry of characters, events, connections and pursuits from Germany, Italy ( Barbareschi interprets Berlusconi!! Superb) from the U.S. to Turkey.

A wonderful completely original action, where nothing happens as if the viewer can expect. Not one scene of the shooting (as realized in that wonderful Guggenheim) leaves nothing to the banal. Everything is carefully designed to not be predictable.

Tykwer is absolutely geometric and icy in the staging, showing a detached and ruthless world in a very personal way, as happened not long ago.

Also the exceptional work done on locations. Yes, because this film is made of plot as much as architecture. No place is an end in itself, but it conveys the spirit of what happens there.

An excellent and original film not seen for some time in the action genre.

Hudsucker Proxy - Joel Coen, Ethan Coen (1994)

(The Hudsucker Proxy)

seen on VHS in the original language with English subtitles.

Finally the Coen guessed a film completely. In the face of the usual well-kept stock, a choice of the actors and the staging of the usual clean, dynamic and inventive director, ure able to create a good story. A ingenuotto is taken, for legal reasons, to conduct securities business millionaire because of this should be under the heels, but unfortunately has some brilliant idea too, and between a journalist without scruples who wants to understand who he is, and a right arm who decides to get rid of him will not have an easy life.

The base is the upper class '50s comedies and as such moves and hits the necessary points. But as they do sometimes Coen , can play with the genre, disillusioning the public's expectations (beautiful For example the scene where Paul Newman is held by a disreputable trousers fall from 44th floor) and mix well with a final nod lysergic heavily and ironically Frank Capra. Obviously there is light and fun and of course there are fast and flawless dialogues that give the film a fast pace.

A film is absolutely perfect in its kind, not a masterpiece, but a film that aims high and guesses all the objectives that arise, and perhaps something more ...

PS: The only flaw is the Italian title, which completely eliminates the element of surprise del leit motiv del cerchio e che annienta il miglior gioco che i Coen fanno con le aspettative del pubblico… americano.

Free Church Welcome Letter

The Defiant Ones - Stanley Kramer (1958)

(The defiant ones)

Visto in DVD.

for charity, given the years is certainly a brave film ... but it is really trivial, almost always predictable and without rhythm. Many of the dialogues, often too long and wordy to keep the interest and excessive meanings frankly useless.

few important scenes (like the one in the pit of clay) and still be too emphatic.

Join the above with a Tony Curtis totally out of hand in the shoes of the contemptuous and racist prison you get a wannabe cult '50s film, but without any stigma of genius.

Community Service Letter Samples

American Graffiti - George Lucas (1973)

(Id.)

Viewed VHS.

The night before leaving for college are four friends to celebrate together, in fact it will soon lose sight of, and each, in its way, lost innocence, naivete, or the illusions of adolescence. The protagonist, Dreyfuss, incamminerà is a path to try to interpose obstacles to the start, because it really does not want to leave home, the encounter with a weary idol of young people who would be young and false papers to get the potersene give the last push to get started.

Mild tale of training (which will give to the " Happy days ", but fortunately we are not in the depths of comedy films) for structured, but this was his trump card in the setting in the early 60's, so comparing the carefree youth of the protagonists with those of United States (Kennedy died there one year, after two starts in Vietnam, after six there will be 68) who still have not lost illusions.

The film is left to follow with grace and has a nice cast of characters that seem trivial, but for a closer look will show as losers leaving no possibility of recourse (the mechanic who will not go to college but will remain locked in the car and races in his work; Ron Howard that sends all the air out of love, etc.).

The only drawback is that this film looks like advertising a car dealership. The characters spend more time shooting aimlessly in the car than in their clothes. If it were really the '60s then I understand where it comes from all the pollution of our day.

Pet Platypuses Illegal

The New York Ripper - Lucio Fulci (1982)

(Id.)

seen on VHS.

For New York is a fool that rips around the bellies of young daughters and take the piss out of the police calling in the voice of Donald Duck ...

So, if we make a comparison that is just a movie to Dario Argento. Silver is better than simplicity, not in plot but in style; Fulci avoids the baroque and renunciation of authorship effects in favor of a film visually simpler and lighter than any film of silver. The thing is very positive ... Fulci also demonstrates some ability in the staging, in narrating, mocks the viewer into believing things that then systematically denied (on all the boy's arrival in the hospital where the woman is hospitalized survivor appears to be a threat, but ...)

Fulci But we try to create tension, suspense to do, if not fear ... but fails. We try, but even the splatter is decent. Just the red splashed around, but nothing more. Moreover, the history, for heaven's sake, it works, and it is almost surprising almost credible but it is clear that Fulci keeps us little, they just want to stage some ammazzamento to justify the description of a world. It is because the director seems more interested in showing a submerged New York morbidity than to follow the fortunes of an inspector, a victim and a murderess. Every character in this story has a distorted relationship with sexuality, even positive ones (The inspector who has sex only with prostitutes, or the psychologist who is a repressed homosexual who is unleashed with the magazines), extended scenes indulge the woman who goes around to record the pants, although many of these scenes are unnecessary items ; shooting outdoors often are in the red light streets, etc ... Fulci wants to create a world focused on sex so sick and this can be god, but then when he has to tell a story that moves in the midst of this world seems to be there behind with less interest and the plot quickly goes to hell with events that happen without being explained ... and of course the audience is bored.

Playing Over Wi-fi With Emulated Diamond

Ginger and Fred - Federico Fellini (1986)

(Id.)

seen on VHS.

A pair of dancers in the '30s, imitated Astaire and Rogers , meet after 40 years to dance together in a television broadcast. Old memories, some secret, the many lost opportunities and, over all, the pettiness of a world gone to hell, exemplarily shown by the television world, made up of uncaring, hypocritical, freaks, freaks and spectacular of all, even the crime , holiness, love etc ...

A bitter film, and many regrets, which is a critique of society (here, as in Carpenter ) consumer (see the advertisements, television and billboards) and a demonstration of how the arts can save, or at least momentarily stop.

When the two dancers will gather to dance together, everything stops, and for a minute chaos rediscover any sense.

conquers all On the scene, just before the dance, where the lights blow, and all are suspended in a moment that, as he says Mastroianni, seems like a dream.

Overall, however, the film is unconvincing. Too predictable and repetitive, and very visually striking. From Fellini one would expect a riot of images and stories to the limit, but it happens. Not bad, but it remains a minor career of the director.

PS: the aged mother as Masina.

Film incredibly original Carpenter in which the plot horror / sci-fi is a bold stand against the capitalist system that winds pushed the U.S. Reagan.

Orion Gate Brampton Prices

Novels in New York # 39: Maggie, A History of New York in New York

begin by saying that the story of this novel is as interesting as its contents. Written
in 1891, in just two days by the then twenty year old Stephen Crane (1871-1900), "Maggie" not had any luck publishing, so that the young writer and journalist was forced two years later in pubblicarselo alone, not even one thousand copies, then spending the considerable sum of $ 869.
The original title was "Maggie a girl of the street - a story of New York" , signed with the pseudonym Johnston Smith.
He managed to sell a few books (yes, two in number), I gave some to relatives and most of the remaining copies were used by the cleaning girl to light the fire. With the consent of the author, is clear.
Yet reading this short novel, rediscovered when Crane had some success in 1895 with "The Red Badge of Courage" , is an extraordinary experience, a testimony accurate, realistic and exciting life of one of the worst areas of the city.
The characters are portrayed in a harsh, almost cruel that the author is not romance but carving, chisel the story with dialogues thesis, modern even today that more than one hundred years. The story of Maggie
more than a story is a collection of photographs, a series of shots that sheds light on a character who appears hopeless right from the start.
Maggie, sewing collars and cuffs for a few cents, lives in the "tenements", knows or at least understands that there may be a better world of squalor that revolves around the ruling. Will try to change, and will do so to escape ending up in the arms of Pete, a little - very little - a good friend of his brother Jimmy.
"For her the world was made only of hardship and injuries. He tried once admiration for a man capable of challenging such a world. I think if the dark angel of death had gripped the hearts, Pete would have shrugged and would said "I put everything in place I" .
The shadows of New York's Bowery in the late nineteenth century and many were young and radiant beauty of Maggie will not be enough to lighten up, nothing will against the cruelty of the big and small neighborhood.
"He began to imagine another of his visits. Expenditure part of the wages to buy the cretonne to make a floral curtain. The fashioned with infinite care and hung it on the hood of the stove in the kitchen. He looked anxiously from different points the room. We held that he looks good, perhaps on Sunday evening when Jimmie's friend would come back. "
The New York Crane was entirely concentrated in those slums, where the carriers in a fist fight on the streets at the slightest provocation and the police never fails to bring out their batons. The only car worthy of respect is that of the firefighters, even they can turn off the alcohol fumes that stifle many of the protagonists.
We are parties de The Gang of New York and Life, but with the contemporary look of a brilliant mind, who knew how to dive not only metaphorically in those slums, capturing the soul and turning it into black literature, opening the way for a realistic style that will affect a lot of American fiction of the 900.

What Apr Can I Get With Bankruptcy

For a Few Dollars More - Sergio Leone (1965)

(Id.)

Seen Dvx.

second chapter of the ideal trilogy preceded by " For a Fistful of Dollars " and then " The Good, the Bad and the Ugly .

Two bounty killer, the always cool Eastwood el'incredibilmente solar Van Cleef (which is also done in this film acting) are both looking for the fugitive neo Volonté . After many thoughts will join the first to make sure you take the money and the other for revenge.

Overall, the film is the weakest of the three. The story is the least interesting, and quite predictable in many parts.

However Leone usually does the job on the cinematic language of the western genre, with his shots from the bottom to Kurosawa, with his face towards the mount, and with its trielli (there is an initial triello of looks between Eastwood, Van Cleef and the image of Will).

The film, however it is nice and appreciated.

PS: for love, will and good, a fully fledged actors who demonstrate the capacity in every area, even in Western, but co-protagonists of the triptych completed by Wallach is unbeatable.

Women's Public Shower

A blaze of love - Ingmar Bergman (1953)

(Gycklarnas Afton)

seen on DVD.

The madam of a fourth-rate circus returns to his home town after three years, where he left his wife with few children, in the meantime, however, is well done lover, horsewoman, which is rather jealous. As he goes to see the little children, in revenge for her / stupidity si concede ad un attore teatrale.

PS: in photo B / W scream.

I Need An Indemnity For House Purchase

Nightmare II: The Revenge - Jack sholder (1985)

(A Nightmare on Elm Street Part 2: Freddy's Revenge)

Seen Dvx.

Second chapter of the saga. The plot is a pretext and without grounds and the main character is bland ...

Anyway ... Freddy Krueger returns to earth to kill people and needs a adolescentello bland and problematic, it is not clear, but it is an excuse to not repeat the plot in the same way as the first. But the result is a Donnie Darko with ideas less clear and much more irritating.

Place the edge of history, the film moves well, but he never shows fear and very little Freddy and to make matters worse put together a series of stupid ideas that can not be more losers, such as towels -slaps Automatic Butt , attacks by parakeets flaming , the protagonist of the bovine tongue, dogs with a mask of sbrodolino pissed

And to make matters worse there is no irony ... many of these choices would acceptable with a turn toward even greater irony than the first, but ...

Homemade Motorbike Cake

winners and losers - Stanley Kramer (1961) Apotheosis

(Judgment at Nuremberg)

Visto in VHS.

La descrizione del processo a 4 gerarchetti nazisti nel 1948 (right of judges and a former minister of justice) courts presided over by a surprisingly open minded, willing to understand why the Germans first to condemn them in toto.

A film is important because it is the first (and to my knowledge, almost the only) to maintain a certain objectivity about Nazi Germany (it's also the first that I know of, to show real images of death camps after the liberation). Show all points of view, the most extreme (both the Germans, as the prosecutor now under indictment, and the Americans, as the current prosecutor) to the more moderate, rising for the 2000 facets political ideology (and Satanic system) has had on everyday life. There are no excuses (or acquittals, even for positive characters), but the desire to show and to understand how to live, go ahead, despite living in a Nazi state and doing nothing to oppose it. Certainly the continued, protested, invocation of ignorance about what happen in the death camps can be believed or not, but change little things, like the German lawyer says, they are being accused all Germans (and should not be the only).

As I said the faults are distributed appropriately, and absolution is not final (as it should be), but the film affords the luxury of defending the Germans and to understand them. No small feat.

PS: I never appointed Kramer, but he goes there with a legal wedding movie, and although quite small, dance with the camera, framing on multiple floors (all functional shots that are used to show in the first floor and second floor speaker who is appointed) and stop when in fact the circle would be superfluous. But sin for the all star cast, largely wasted.

Paraprofessional Day 2010

Olympia - Leni Riefenstahl (1938)

(Olympia 2. Teil - Fest der Schönheit)

seen on VHS.

The second film based on the recordings Olympics of '38 about all sports not touched in the first. If it was in the athletics, we are all in this modern sports, from fencing, horse racing, the sport of water.

In this film, Riefenstahl dare more, aiming most of the races and transforming sul'estetica (whose results are less and less important) in the real challenges of bodies and shadows. Wonderful the initial sequence of screens and all of the board, in an escalation of risky shots and editing.

The Riefenstahl frames from every angle, they put a camera in the pool and uses the backlight, sports matches diventano quasi unicamente un tentativo di mettere in risalto l’azione fisica e l’estetica che essa incorpora.

Joe D'amato Movies Online Watch

Novels # 38: New York in New York

It was (and is) my plan presented in this web space volumes of essays or city guides, but the beauty of blogs is that you can also take some liberties and give the body a number of exceptions that confirm the rule.
The idea was born from this digression to reprint the book of Professor Mario Maffi "Beneath the towers of Manhattan" , now revised and adjusted in the title and becomes, simply, New York . The book was released in 1998 and, as stated by the author nell'inedita chapter titled Time and the City , things will have changed a lot.
It 's true that this is not a novel but it is also true that it is a guide that reads like a novel, with New York the undisputed protagonist of the story with Maffi wandering time and space in the city.
The author tells it, even the shows with a passion that only a city like New York can give. The story of the city goes beyond the geometric map streets and avenues of downtown and uptown and guide us - not only in the topographical sense - even through and in the city: "Maybe this route south to north is somewhat forced and a director at some point you should abandon it, to enjoy Manhattan crosstown , horizontally. Then, one morning, take the 14th or the 23rd or 42th or 57th all ' East end of the island, the sun is behind you and illuminates everything ahead of you, and avviatevi toward the Hudson River, the west end. "
The appearance of the erudite guide, hundreds of facts, names, places, addresses are the frame, solid and timely exposure of a fluid, captivating narrative and tone, with the support of a rich iconographic and visually stimulating .
Maffi love the city and this love leads him to a sincere critique of what is wrong, even dispelling stereotypes about what to see and what you can avoid it, with a popular mission that pushes the reader / visitor to forced exit from the paths of tourism to discover the real city, the urban villages, cafes, markets of English Harlem, the Lower East Side, small parks, places history, short but intense of the Big Apple.
The very name of the chapters divided into Names, Maps, Below, Resorts, Museums, Words (this chapter that tells better than any comment on my blog because it comes as Novels in New York), Pictures, Sounds, Prism, bridges, is symptomatic of the originality of the approach to the city as well as more conventional titles or Museums Maps hidden treasures: "visit the MoMA is a little like sending a postcard to friends witness. Nothing wrong of course. But New York has other little gems that are no less emblematic of the MoMA or the Met ... These little gems are often organized in a different way in an attempt to engage the visitor, to turn it into an active user that is not only exposed, but literally put on stage. "
The fact that many of these chapters are essentially unchanged the first edition is a value-added work, a photograph of New York a few years ago, often different from today and not only because of the terrorist attack on the Twin Towers.
Maffi love the city and this love led him to a sincere critique of what is wrong, even dispelling stereotypes about what to see and what you can avoid it, with a mission that drives popular the reader / visitor to leave the beaten track bound tourism to discover the real city.
New York is a city that we all know regardless of whether there was or not. One of the main effects of this book is that people who already visited the city will come back to see what has been lost and who is planning his first trip in the luggage will have the right tools to be a little more travelers and fewer tourists. It is not a trivial matter.

Cattleman .44 Mag Scopes

Olympia - Leni Riefenstahl (1938)

(Olympia 1. Teil - Fest der Völker )

Visto in VHS.

Le sequenze migliori sono quelle initial, where all is beauty and inventiveness, rather than a film where you are in front of a work of visual art. The film begins with the classical representation (Greek) of beauty, a comparison with current athletes and then running the Olympic torch from Olympia to Berlin (the same idea this Riefenstahl and some hierarchy). As I said, a series of stunning sequences, which alone shows the ability of the director.

Then the film actually becomes a documentary. Shows the sequences more interesting (and all finals) of different specialties. The Riefenstahl seems more interested in athletic than you results, but of course there are also races, shown with an array of enviable resources, trolleys, thousands of shots at the same time, close-ups, slow motion and thousands of details (the influence is very evident that the German director has given the royal sport). Although for my personal taste aside purely documentary has the greatest interest in showing the small differences with the present day, from people blockade achieved by digging holes in the ground, the high jump before the method Fosbury .

A very good film that shows great technique and the aesthetic taste of Riefenstahl and, in my view, the insistence of the shots in favor of Owens show some sympathy for the symbol of those Olympic sports that clashes with the idea of \u200b\u200ba director ... political leanings.

Can You Put An Internet Dongle In A Playstation 3

The Black Swan - Darren Aronofsky (2010)

(Black Swan)

seen in the movies.

A dancer, almost out of time, still dominated by a mother who lives through her and inprigionata made acceptable only in a childish obsession with dance, getting the part of the prima ballerina in " Swan Lake. " Technically perfect, it has not the right spirit, the right look (the heart, says Cassel ), per interpretare il sensuale cigno nero.

There is so much "The wrestler ", framed with necks all the time, the camera that fills every frame with his protagonist, a character who lives through his body, which exploits and abuses in any way while to succeed (which I would almost say that Aronofsky is the most concrete of the new directors of the body horror ), but also puts us in the midst of all the disturbing madness " greek pi" (great use of sounds in this film like that) and the visrtuosismo behind the camera for "Requiem for a Dream " (but without all the fighetteria achiappagiovani).
Here I say here and deny it, this is also the best film about dance (ok, not of this kind I have seen many) as well as the best on the ratio (in this case patient) between art and life.

said that the film is a downward slide into the abyss of madness, made in a Relist and disturbing, a horror film that leads to true only in a sequence in the final for the rest of time creates a huge voltage constant as excessive and did not happen for quite some time now. It also has the advantage of not to exceed found in too kitschy (though there are, but we love them mmettere that Aronofsky) and uses a wonderful cast, with a Portman never so good.
Unfortunately, it is noted as the erotic component of the film has been greatly inflated by the critics, and those who go to see him only for what will dluso (I admit there are still bad ...).

An amazing film not seen for some time.

PS: Lovely also all the equipment of posters and advertising posters, Soviet-style or 30 years. Here's one bit, in addition to the one published above.

Do I Wear Underwear Under My Volleyball Shorts

Hot Fuzz - Edgar Wright (2007)

(Id.)

Dvx Seen in the original language with Italian subtitles.

Prior to being a great comedy, this is a wonderful film, a good action movie and a great mystery movie.

A policeman too good, so much to undermine all our colleagues, was sent from London to a rural village in the province, where everything seems quiet ... obviously it will not, even begin a series of deaths from all accidents considered ...

The film is exceptional. The direction is perfect, with a photograph at a tight fitting and precise functional and aesthetic choices (plus a small dose of gore to satisfy the most demanding). Magnificent continual nod to genre films, from action to horror, to the western city with the return of the policeman. (Emphasized by the scene where the two police officers watching "Point Break " and "Bad Boys 2 " while a parallel assembly are joined to the death of the scream).

As comedy it's all perfect, makes you laugh no ifs, ands or buts.

As action movies from us in the end. It is true the scenes are 10 and praise, but for a comedy are well above average. But what

That is, a beautiful blend. A perfect film.

PS: the appearance of unrecognizable Peter Jackson in Santa Claus and the stabber Cate Blanchett in the ex-girlfriend Pegg .

Celebrities With Toupees

sadness Hello! - Otto Preminger (1958) Carmen Jones

(Bonjour tristesse)
seen on DVD.

A playboy is disentangling between parties in Paris and the beaches of the Riviera with her daughter which leaves a forest of enormous freedom and love of the moment. But when decide to put my head straight woman will choose a fairly stiff, but incredibly in hand, at least until the marriage proposal, after which you will feel compelled to protect the girl. Too bad she does not want to be protected and will in some way (not just a clever ploy, but effective) to make her leave. The woman will not bear the pain and kill you. From that moment the lives of father and daughter will continue the same as before, but where before their happiness was genuine, it will now be only a pretense of happiness.

stories during flashbacks in which the gray this is shot in B / N, while the past is a happy color.

The plot is incredibly intimate, not original, but told with the right look, always interesting and rightly so pathetic in the end. The tone is always apt and if Preminger not darts for inventive maintains the right way.

A chamber play garbarto and effective. Cast perfect.

Quotes On Confidentiality

- Otto Preminger (1954)

(Id.)

seen on DVD.

Broadway just think all the people, and so here's the musical version of " Carmen" by Bizet and I say that work just because they took the music and they made us sing over the songs. Then we follow the adventures of a soldier torn between his girlfriend and the vamp in office that if he uses it as he wishes, puts him in trouble and he soon bored ... bad for her.

It should also be noted that the characters are all blacks, no small detail in 1954 ...

Needless to say instead that the songs are beautiful ...

Having said that though the details are finished. Preminger seems to have never seen a musical Minnelli to leave aside all choreography while singing the characters are merely doing what they're doing around la stanza; mentre il regista, al massimo, si accontenta di un piano sequenza per la parte musicale… niente di che comunque.

Hack Canon Camera Webcam

The secret of a woman - Otto Preminger (1949)

(Whirlpool)

Visto in DVD.

Lui dapprima l’aiuta, solve the troubles related to the theft and eliminates insomnia, but then the advantage, and while under hypnosis uses for its own purposes.

I'll be the skin that can not stand the stories of super hypnotists who make others do what they want, I'll consider that the idiotic stories, but the film is clearly unacceptable.

For heaven's sake, the art of Preminger plans to create small sequence is enhanced by the use of only internal, and then the camera is a dance between the characters giving a good frame of what film still remains a fool.

Does Winn Dixie Used Mercedes Trucks

Tommy - Ken Russell (1975) The Australian

(Id.)

seen on VHS in the original language with Italian subtitles.

Son of a soldier who died in the war witnessed the return home of the father, but unfortunately you will also assist the new mother's companion, which is outside the biological father. The shock of what will produce many problems in the tot. Become deaf and blind as well. growth will all until, by chance not regain your senses and become the leader of a sect, very useful to make money, but at least to attain enlightenment to his followers.

not a musical but a true rock opera with great music badged Who (which appartiane the concept). The story is a parable Christological, surprise, LSD and absolutely not predictable to the end, the basic concept which can escape, but the concepts that flutter in 2000 are well received.

Russell is a director who does not love you, because confusing, pretentious and excessive, in a word kitsch, yet this film is perfect. His brash style fits the mood and creates a rhythmic direction and never stops, focused on essential colors and shiny, with some remarkable inventions visual (on all the black cube for a head of the child, but also made the iron maiden syringes is not bad).

Pole Dancing Skin Eczema

- Jerzy Skolimowski (1978)

(The shout)

Visto in Dvx, in lingua originale sottotitolato in inglese.

Un tizio vissuto per 18 anni nell'outback australiano has learned a bit of magic tricks from the Northeast, including the cry that kills. Installatie gray little man in the house of a British-nothing will destabilize the couple's life, seduces his wife, destabilizes the mental health and kill a bit of sheep. To get rid of the gray inglesucolo he will have to resort to magic arts.

Films that would be deep, exotic while still in England and darkly mysterious (and mysteriously dark). Yet all I get is a great sense of emptiness of the plot and characters (because no one works in this film? Because no one makes decisions?) In Northeast sauce which is always cool, with some care in making the story to make it chaotic look deeper.

The result is therefore quite boring, interesting only at first, but then less and less concise, gets lost and loses the audience.

The director, however, he launches into several sequences of inserts have already seen, or sights that make it more confusing, but that operate in the sense of alienation and internal connection to the story, plus some authorial decision to the audience screamed in my face (the scene where his wife on all fours mimics the particular context of Bacon Black repeatedly shown up close, and at that moment the whole scene becomes B / N). More than a bad movie, an opportunity completely wasted.

Is Streaming South Park Illegal

Novels # 37: This Kiss Go to the Whole World

Philippe Petit is a French tightrope walker on August 7, 1974 made a huge undertaking: travel the gap between the Twin Towers on a steel cable, to 417 mt. high, with no protection (for those who wish to learn there is a documentary film Man on Wire semplioemente or more from the interview with Fabio Fazio protagonist of this "Che tempo che fa in 2009).
insane and ingenious idea, prepared dall'acrobata and his staff for six years, meticulously, like a big robbery or an attack, but with no purpose other than the tragedy of 2001: "The sleepless nights , wandering the streets alone pale of the World Trade Center from a distance, with the lights on the towers seemed to just one. He stopped on a street corner and you threw up there, imagining the sky, silhouette of the blackest black. "
With This Kiss Go to the Whole World (Let the Great World Spin) Colum McCann, a writer already appeared in this blog post # 4 in , Petit says under the rope twisted fates of characters intense, engaging and sometimes shocking.
We are in New York in the early 70's, the less touristy the modern era. These are the years of dirty streets, Central Park dangerous, Bronx pericolossisimi and Harlem, the Village filled with drugs, graffiti tags and the explosion of color. And yet sultry air of the city McCann takes us into lives full of poetry.
We developed a passion for excellence econd-extremist Corrigan, neomissionario the Bronx, already as a boy in his Dublin stealing the covers of the closet to give to the homeless. In New York you will find what to do in one of the worst areas of the city.
We moved in knowing the elegant Claire who lives on the Upper West Side, in fact, there in the words of other mothers who, like her, have lost children in Vietnam. Among these is Gloria, a descendant of slaves, not wealthy but that comes in a beautiful harmony with Mrs. Uptown.
know the desperate life of the prostitute and her daughter Tillie Jazzlyn " One day I had gone swimming in Jazzlyn, have had some week. Her skin glowed. I looked and I thought that the word "beauty" was born with her own. I wrapped in a towel and I promised her that he would never beat the pavement ".
Will's intention?
And then there are Blaine and Lara, artists in the Village when it was full of artists, young programmers from Palo Alto, California working on what would become the internet, but for now they use technology to find out if the tightrope walker will succeed or not.
mounting cross-narrative, a young reader would not hesitate to describe as reflected by the films of Tarantino (even though we know that the father of all this is John Dos Passos ), makes reading flowing, enriched by a passion imbued from time to time by a light irony with which the author recounts the soul of the characters, managing to elicit empathy in the reader with all the protagonists, no matter with whom you can, or should , identify.
The wise distribution of territorial and ethnic history and events, forced the crossings in geometric map of New York offer numerous ideas for a passionate description of the city, seizing its inner aspects in a sublime "Coming to this city was like entering in a tunnel, he said, and discover with surprise that the light at its end was not important and sometimes it was just the light tunnel to make it tolerable. " This
Go Kiss the world closes with an epilogue set in 2006 and McCann show here, once again, his talent. Introduced a couple of new characters (well, one already glimpsed ...) and closes the circle with feeling and a bit of plausible hope. Do not betray the sense of the fragility of life and strength necessary for its defense, which runs throughout the novel, a concept that applies to us all, but perhaps it is even more true in New York City: "One of the wonders of New York that, wherever you come from, just minutes after landing yours already. " This
